I wandered into the Body Studio looking for some direction on how to exercise. I was 50 pounds overweight and was a couple weeks into a New Years resolution to get in shape. I thought Dan would give me a few pointers for a couple of weeks and I would have the direction I needed.
What happened is that I found a true partner in helping me to achieve my fitness goals. I got regular guidance on food choices and direction on running and fitness. I'll never forget Dan reading out the calories and fat in an In-N-Out Double Double after reporting that I had fallen off the wagon the night before. In the end, I spent over a year seeing Dan twice a week. I lost 50 pounds and have gone on to run 2 marathons, a 100 mile cycling century, and over a dozen half marathons. The tools he taught and the basis of motivation he provided were truly invaluable. I couldn't recommend him more. He changed my life and I couldn't be more grateful. Best money I have ever spent. |

I just got out of a boot camp session and i'm pumped! Excellent gym, great staff, and perfect location. Its literally right across the street from the bay trail - you're looking out over the bay during your workout. I'd highly recommend boot camp and the personal trainers at Body Studio for Fitness to anyone seeking any level of fitness.

I have been a client of Theresa's for about 10 years. I started because I was not disciplined enough to exercise on my own. Now, 10 years and nearly 25 painless pounds later, I am still not great at working out on my own, but I relish my time at the studio. Theresa is as encouraging a trainer as anyone could ever want. Even with zero style points during some of my workout, she still will say the right positive feedback to make you want to keep going.
I have worked through several injuries and recurrent joint issues and she is very aware of what can and should be done and what needs to be adapted until things are better. The studio is clean and friendly. I have trained with a couple of the other trainers on occasion and they are as nice, knowledgeable and encouraging as Theresa. The owners have set the tone of this studio and it reflects their positive attitudes towards exercise, overall health and their clients. Go for it - you have nothing to lose and health to gain! |

I've been going to The Body Studio for a little over 7 years now and it's helped me in many ways. I go three time a week. I've lost 70 pounds in the first 11 months and have kept it off the whole time. The folks there are skilled, knowledgeable and care about where you're at with your fitness level. I have been working out there one on one with the same trainer the whole time and that matters. I've been other places once or twice and The Body Studio is the only place that has really impressed me. The trainers there are very educated and skilled in their line of work, and that shows in the time they spend with me.

Danny and Theresa are great. I have been going here for the better part of 8 years. I cannot say enough good things about these two and the way they run their business. There are three of us in the family that work out regularly there. I have been a member at several health clubs and paid the yearly membership and never went to work out. This "appointment" type system works for me because I know they are there waiting for me. I cannot say enough good things about this business.
